Help with AP

Hello to all the DVC peeps,

I have a question my mother needs help with and I couldn't think of a better place for some info than the dis.

My parents just bought at AKL and haven't even been back to WDW yet and we are having an issue.

My sister and I are taking a trip together this weekend but her annual pass needs to be renewed (expired 11/24 and she still lives at home). They are telling my mother though that she cannot renew and recieve her $100 DVC discount for my sister without my mother being present to pick it up. I understand that they need to verify the same household and my sister has her drivers license to prove that so why won't they let her do this?

We are talking about $100 and I'm a little stumped as to how we can handle this since my mother will not be going.

Assoicate Members don't qualify for member benefits and don't get a membership card.

I agree - but it would show that her mother trust her.
