Help with Airtran rebooking?

Hi guys. need some help in knowing if this will work and if it is worth the hassle.

So, I have 2 nonstop Airtran reservations in September. Another thread has a coupon for $25 off Airtran flight. Well the other day I got an email that our flight time had changed. Not really by much, like an hour later.

So I am wondering if I could cancel the flight, then rebook with the credit and the coupon. But... I want to stay on the very same flight, because its nonstop, and the only nonstop flight that day.

Tell me what you think, please

In case anyone is wondering... I caled Airtran and she said I could get either a credit or a refund to my card and can rebook.

Not sure where the $25 coupons are coming from. We are setup to receive the e-mails from AirTran and haven't seen any of these since February.

Did you have round trip booked, or two seperate reservations? Do to a serious health issue in the family, I may have to cancel our fall reservation. They did change our flight down by 2 hours, but not the return flight. Just wondering if they will refund back to my card when I call.
