Help with ADR's

Ok I have made my ADR's and am hoping that they are OK. Keep in mind that this will be our first time ever going and I had NO clue what I was doing. We are staying at the AKL from 8/11-8/18 we are on the dinning plan from 8/11-8/16. It will be me, DH, DSIL(17) DD(4) and DS(1). For the most part we are picky eaters which is why were doing alot of buffets

So let me know your thoughts...thanks

8/11- We arive at 2:50. Get a CS at AKL and just explore the lodge.

8/12-Chef mickey @7:25 then off to AK

8/13-Doing MK and dinner at 1900 park fare @4:55

8/14-Doing MK again- breakfast at crystal palace @ 8:05

8/15-This day is tricky.. we plan on doing epcot, I will leave the DH, DSIL, and DS there and take DD to BBB at the castle(thought it would be more magical) @9:30am for her make-over, then back to epcot and dinner at princess story book norway @ 6:15

8/16-Ohana breakfast @ 7:55 then doing MK again

8/17-SIFI not sure of a park yet

8/18- not sure of a park yet we leave at 8:55 pm

I think it looks like a very good schedule. Agree that if you have picky eaters, the buffets are good.

They do look good.

Maybe you'll want to do Tuskers House buffet on an AK day. If you want to keep your CM ADR then on one of the days you aren't sure of you could do Tuskers for breakfast (I believe they open 1 hr. before park) and then you'll already be at AK and really close to Kilamanjaro Safari ride when it opens. Or you could switch from CM to Tuskers.

Also, if you want to do a non-buffet one day, I heartily rec. Kona Cafe at Poly. And it's monorail close to MK and just another monorail away from Epcot. We tend to book most of our ADRs for non-park restaurants so we aren't tied down to any park on a particular day. This works well for us.

Oh, and another great buffet is Boma at AKL. Even the pickiest eater should find something to eat there. No characters though, but you might want a break from characters at some point.

Love Park Fare and PSB. Good food, good interaction. 'Ohana breakfast is also very good. Ohhhh, another great choice is Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner) at MK. If you think you might be at MK on another one of your unknown days, I rec. booking LTT, just in case. Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale in colonial garb. The food is basically Thanksgiving served family style.

8/12-Chef mickey @7:25 then off to AK If you are staying at AKL I wouldn't travel to another resort just to return and go to AKL. I'd move this to your Epcot day. You can catch the monorail at the Contemporary to get to Epcot. I'd book breakfast at Boma then head to the park OR eat a CS breakfast and book Boma for dinner that night. You have an awesome buffet right in your hotel, don't miss it!
