Help with AAA discount please

Right now I have a package booked through Disney for the end of October, it is for 8 nights at BC with dining added on and 8 day hopper tickets. If I join AAA, how do I go about using the discount. Do I have to cancel this reservation and rebook through AAA, will I get my 200.00 deposit back? Can I call Disney and have them add a AAA discount to my existing reservation? Is the discount only on the room or do they discount the whole package?

I am trying to decide if I should go ahead and join and do this to save what ever amount I can or keep waiting for a general or Visa code for a package.

I think they will just apply your AAA discount to the reservation you already made.....but only if the AAA discount is still available for your dates and resort. They only offer a limited amount of discounts for AAA. If you can get it, it is definitely worth it! You'll save a bunch of $$!
