I have been using a modified version of the kids journal that jtanddolly has on her site to hand out to our kids and the kids we've taken to WDW (and I LOVE it). This summer, I'm taking DDs and friends and, at 13-16, they are too old for this journal. So that I have something to give to these 6 teenagers before the trip, I've been putting together a new journal that is geared to older teens / adults. I did give my inlaws a journal / info book last summer, but I wasn't happy with how it turned out. I'm trying to make something that is easily editable in Word and doesn't take up alot of ink to print but still looks good.

What I have put together so far has a section for "pre-trip" stuff -- it has a page each for our flight info, a packing list, stuff about the hotel, planned ADR's. Then I have a journalling section with a page for facts (weather, morning - afternoon - evening activities, my mood, what I ate for each meal or snacks, time I got up and went to bed, souvenirs purchased) and a page for reflections (favorite ride etc, what went well, what went bad, what was unexpected and just general thoughts) for each day. Next I have a section with a very general overview of what is in each section of each park.

What I'm getting stuck on is what to put on the journalling page(s) after each park. I have some non-park-specific stuff. Pre like "rides I don't want to miss", "pictures I want to take", "snacks I want to try" and some reflection stuff like "my favorite ride at ___ was" "something that didn't live up to my expectations was" "something that exceeded my expectations was" as well as a few park specifics ones like "my first thought when I saw the castle was" and "TOT vs RnR - discuss"

Does anyone have any ideas for other things I can put in the park journalling section?

Thanks!

PS -- I will try to post the final version once I get it done if anyone wants to see it. I've taken so much from this board, I'd love to be able to give for a change!
