Help with a sorta kinda OT question

I love the pictures and clip art that everyone has on their posts and under their usernames, and was wondering where do the pictures come from (I realize some are family pictures) and the clipart?? I specially am a big fan of the DVC Survivor one

Can anyone help this totally computer illiterate girl??!!??

The DVC Survivor pic is one that someone found and then modified, using a Graphics Package on their pc to show DVC wording, or whatever they wanted.

You can find the clipart about Disney by doing an Internet search. Just be sure that the author doesn't have a copyright or that they don't mind if you copy it. If you're in doubt, you can contact the author and ask if you can copy it.

There is an excellent clip art primer thread on the Tech Board under the FAQ area near the top. It has several good examples and I think it has a couple sites listed there also.
