Help with a point transfer, what to do??

I have been scouring the Rent/Trade board for months. I have monitored other sites, as well as some of the point rental services. I need a transfer for a certain resort for a big trip next year, I need a decent amount of points. I cannot find points for this particular resort available for transfer ANYWHERE.

1) Is there a place I might not be looking?

2) Mods, I would gladly pay to be be able to post my needs; has this ever been considered? As in, "I need a transfer of at least xxx points for xxx resort"? I would pay just like those who pay to post their points for rent?

Any advice would be appreciated. We are taking our trip in early October, so I need to book in early November this year (I have the 11 month window, looking to add to our current points). I know that sounds far away, but I started looking months ago and it's coming up quickly.

So there is another message board for dvc owners where you are allowed to post these requests. I don't think I can post the name of it. If you google "message board dvc owners" it would be at the top.

Thanks, I am familiar with that site and have monitored it, it seems like a lot of people looking and not a lot available to transfer, and specifically very little if anything at the resort I'm looking for.

I guess I feel like a board like that here on the DIS would be great, there is a lot of activity here and I would pay for the right to request transfers. Maybe the mods would consider this?

I suspect I am looking for the same resort as you for a September 2013 trip! It has been dry! I think I might have to resort to seeing if David's can do rentals for that resort at 11 months but I am not hopeful!

I also wish we had the ability to do wanted requests for transfers! I was sad when they took that away! I would much prefer a transfer to have control over the reservation instead of having to go thru someone else!
