Help with a camera purchase

I like to take pictures but am no pro when it comes to it. I want a good camera that takes higher quality pictures along with no delay. I have been looking for a good digital camera that is affordable as well as easy to use for a beginning photographer.

I have been looking at the Canon 6.0 PS S3IS 10X optical zoom.

What do you think about this camera and do you think it will fit my needs??

I need a camera genius lord knows I am not it!!
