My friend has asked me to help her find an efficiency-type for 4 adults and three kids (Mom, Dad, GRandparents, kids 4, 3, 1) for one week next March. I am assuming they will need two bedrooms. I am clueless about what is available outside of WDW. What is the closest to WDW, but also, what is pretty nice?? Anyone have ideas on good rates? Thanks a lot.

if you'll look under www.hotelmartusa.com they have cypress point resort 3 bedroom for I THINK 88$ a night tax included. That would suit them well I think. And it's only a 5 minute drive to WDW from what I've heard

We just got back from Wyndham Palms (locate just 3 miles from WDW). They are brand new. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with 1552 square feet. Other ammenities included were 52' big screen TV, washer and dryer, dishwasher, jacuzzi tub in master bedroom and king size bed, two queen beds in second bedroom, and screened in porch overlooking golf course.

I booked it for $89/night at www.hotelkingdom.com

On the wyndham website it listed for $345/night. That was a big difference in price!

They had free breakfast at one of the pools each weekday. They also offered a hot breakfast at the clubhouse. I don't know how much it cost.

We were only there for 3 nights so we didn't get to spend much time at the resort but we thought it was beautiful especially for the price.

Let me know if you have any questions.

there are around 60 timeshares in and around WDW - how close do you want to be - which park do you want to be close to - AK (Kissimmee area) - Epcot and MK - (Lake buena Vista area) - the studios would be either.

also International Drive has a bunch of very nice timeshares

there are several Marriott very close to WDW - Fairfield is building one very close - next door to the CRB and PC.

there are also owner owned condo for rent

also if you feel lucky - you can bid here (but I would wait until much closer to time )

Have you stayed at Windsor Palms yourself? That place looks unbelieveable.

No, November will be our first time there. The resort just opened last July. I've read a number of posts raving about it, though, and I was equally impressed by the website. I spoke extensively with the owner that we are renting from and she is thrilled with the place. My wife and I are actually entertaining the idea of visiting the sales office during our stay as we hope to buy a rental property in the area within the next few years. This might end up being the place. And if you think I'm promoting it now, just wait until I own one - LOL! I will definitely post a detailed report when we get back - just wish it was sooner.

boy I am losing - DVC - OKW - try for 2 studios - you can rent from a DVC member and save you alot of money. these are on WDW property.

say the dates that you want and I will check availability.

then (if you want these) you need to go to the DVC rental/trade board on this site.

besides OKW, there is also VWL, BWV or BCV but they cost more in points so are more expensive to rent.

the Marriott at World Trade Center - are about as close as you can get to WDW and not be on property.
