Help with 11 Year old girl

Hi,
At work we're each buying gifts for a child in a battered women's shelter and I got an 11 year old girl. Problem is that the last experience I had with an 11 YO girl was when I was 11 ... hundreds of years ago. Do 11YO still like stuffed animals? I got the gifts she asked for but I thought an xmas Minnie would be cute as well. I just don't want to be lame

I have an 11 y.o. DD and I think as long as you bought the requested gift, a stuffed Minnie would be a nice extra. This is the age they want to start growing up but still appreciate some little girl things!

My DD is 11 and still loves stuffed animals, she sleeps with them all snuggled around her.

I think that would be a very nice xtra special gift too. Very thoughtful of you to add something more.

We adopted a 14 yr. old girl from Children Youth Services - and I also added a stuffed animal to her presents. I also bought one of those candy canes filled with Lip Smackers, and some other little odds and ends.

my 11yr. old niece likes those stuffed dogs with the big heads. Not sure their name. But I am 34 and I still love stuffed animals so I am sure she will love anything.

My 10 1/2 yo dd would love to get a Christmas Minnie, but knowing her, she'd give it to her mama. She loves her stuffed animals (especially the Eeoyres).

11 is a tough age. Some of the girls are really mature and others are still in the stage where they like their dolls and plush animals. Almost all of them like the Bath & Bodyworks bath stuff as well as lip balms and body glitter.

I have an 11 year old daughter. She's very easy to buy for - SHE WANTS IT ALL! Her Christmas list this year is two typed pages long (at least she double-spaced!) She wants make-up, clothes & more "grown-up" things, but still has toys, games & doll things on her list too. She even asked for SNOWGLOBES! lol I don't think you can go wrong by adding a little something extra to the things that this little girl asked for - Minnie sound perfect. You are very generous to do such a wonderful thing for another family at Christmas.
