We are going for 10 nights in early December and right now we have two reservations! We need to cancel one ASAP, so I need some major help.

I am trying to decide between the Wilderness Lodge (which we absolutely fell in love with last December) or the Boardwalk Inn (which we have never stayed at).

I'm absolutely torn about what to do. We love the lodge, especially at Christmas! But it would be fun to be on the Boardwalk, too. We are two adults without kids so we would really enjoy being close to the night life, etc.

What is the Boardwalk like at Christmas time? Will I miss the Christmas feel of the lodge? Any advice???

Should we maybe do a split stay? I was thinking about 6 nights at the WL and 4 nights at the Boardwalk. How big a hassle is it to switch?

IMHO You are 2adults. You like the nightlife and you fell in love with the WL.Do a split stay.Experience and enjoy the best of what both resorts have to offer. One switch, especially when staying for at least 10days is worth it to try a new resort for a few days.If you don't like the BW, you still have the WL to look forward to. Have fun whatever you decide.:)

I also recommend the split stay option. We did this a few years back with the WL and BC and it was great. Its really easy to switch Bell Services move all your bags etc so you just go out to Epcot for the day from the WL and return to the Boardwalk.

I must say though I would recommend staying at the Boardwalk if you dont have kids and want to experience the nightlife, it makes life so much easier being able to just stroll back to your hotel room after a night out.

I have no idea why anyone would have a problem with a split stay.. I couldnt imagine doing it any other way. So you have to repack your bags and tip a few bellhops... Disney eliminates any of the aggrevation with splitting resorts so why not get the most outta your experience. Im going in Nov and splitting the WL and BWI. Ill just give my luggage to BWI when i check out and walk through epcot to the bus for the WL. Make the choice alot easier.
