Help! Wide World of Sports

We are headed to the great house of mouse on 10/27 thru 11/5.....my DS 9 would like us to visit WWS. Well, what exactly is there for him to do?? Is there more information available somewhere?? Please anyone who's been I'd love some help here.

This is definately an area that passporter needs to cover!

DH & I went there in Nov 2000. There was nothing going on at all. The only bus was from MGM, then waiting for it to pick us up took almost an hour. They do have their own website...try to google it, or there should be a link from the Disneyworld website.

We were just there at the end of August. We had never been there before and since it was part of our package, my DH wanted to see what was there. We had to take bus to MGM and then bus there. We got there and there were soccer tournaments going on. We watched a bit, but of course since we knew no one we continued to walk around. Apparently there is an area where they have simulated games for the kids but it was not available that day probably because of all the tournaments. We were there an hour and as my DH said 'been there done that and won't go back'.
