Help - Which Week in June?

Trying to decide which week in June to go with - the options are the 3rd through the 9th or the 10th though the 16th.

I know Disney has a lot of deals and pin codes available for days up to the 9th, which leads me to think a lot of people will be booking those days to take advantage of the deals... but then the other side of me thinks that Disney is offering those days at a discount because they are less crowded and that the summer rush will be starting the week of the 10th?

Any thoughts? Am I reading too much into it all?

I don't think crowds will be noticeably different either week. We did the week of the 10th last June. The weather was gorgeous other than the daily afternoon rain. The rain never interfered with our plans.

Yes. :D

I really don't think it matters. That time of year, southern schools are already out for either week for the most part. Northern schools are just starting to let out. I don't think you'd notice any real difference.

they will likely be the same. Toys Story land will be opening around that time so if that is important to you go for the later week. "summer" officially starts for Disney mid June so the promos are different.

As far as summer goes, earlier is always better. Having said that, there's not going to be a huge difference between the two

June gets busier the later you get. I would go the first week while schools are still in session.

split the difference, lol. we will be going the 5th - 14th. DW and I took solo trip in 2016 June 3-10 crowds were low.

Where did you find a deal for 1st week of June? I’m looking myself.

I’m going to be the contrarian... I think later in June is the way to go. If I could pick a window crowd wise for the summer, it would be mid/late June through late July or early August.

Earlier the better IMO, but these weeks will probably be equal. Many schools up North and out west are still in session, usually until late June. Weather will be the same, but it does get hotter and steamier the more you head into June.

Yes me too! I didn't think any deals were released yet? We did the 6th-14th last year and crowds were very manageable. Looking to book around the same time this June.

A lot of southern schools will be out by the end of May (we get out right before Memorial Day, if we don't have snow days), so both those weeks will likely be about the same crowd-wise. We picked 6/10-16 for work related reasons. The last time we checked in on 6/8, the kids were in school until 6/5 and I was a total wreck. Not doing that again, ever. This is the last time we have to take public school schedules into account, youngest ds graduates 2019. That will make planning any vacation easier.

I have received two pin codes from Disney over the past month that were good to use up until 6/9/17. I talked with my Disney travel agent and she was able to get me rates slightly lower than the pin code, so I probably won't use them, but was wondering if that week was some sort of start to the bigger crowds or something.
