Can't remember where I read... one of the parks has two entrances (in terms of parking lots)... one is good, the other puts you out in the boonies. Was it Disney/MGM Studios? Which street offers the better parking?

I don't know for sure, but for some reason I am thinking it is MGM, too. The only entrance we have ever used is the main entrance located right across from the Boardwalk. So I guess if there is another entrance, that would be the one that lets you out in the boonies. LOL

Disney MGM Studios has two drive-in entrances with separate toll plazas. One is for folks coming up the main entry from the south, from I-4 and Rte. 192. The other is the one on Buena Vista Drive across from the Boardwalk. As of November 2003, regardless of which you use you are channeled around to the same general area the parking attendants are filling up, at least during most park hours.

There is only one exit, onto Buena Vista, as of now.

Epcot has two park entrance gates, the second is approximately at the England and France pavilion area of World Showcase. There is no parking lot at this location. Guests take the boat here from nearby resorts such as Beach Club and Yacht Club and also Boardwalk.

Hey thanks for replying... I was beginning to think I was going crazy because nobody was responding!

I know I read somewhere (thought it was in the UG but going back I can't find it... at least I thought it was a recent publication) that one of entrances gave you access to a better part of the parking lot. I haven't been since '91 and I didn't drive the car there. But we are planning to use the rental car this time since we are traveling with 3 kids this time... looking for all the ways to make things a little easier!

When I parked there one morning in late April, traffic in the lot was being merged from 2 different directions (we came in from the boardwalk entrance), everyone parked in the same place. The closest lot was closed, it was being paved so we had to turn left and swing around to one of the back lots. If they were using separate lots, I think the boardwalk entrance would use the closer one. MGM's lot doesn't seem as big as the others, I don't think it matters where you park, the tram services all areas.

It was the UG and it said not to use the entrance on Buena Vista Drive. That was one of the tips I highlighted in the book for our trip last November. Then I forgot about it! On our way to MGM, I suddenly remembered there was SOMETHING about parking for MGM, but couldn't find it until we had already turned on Buena Vista. So much for all that planning.

Anyway, we all merged and parked in the same place!

Thanks... between a big deadline at work and getting ready for this trip, I am totally stressing! I know I shouldn't be! I tend to worry though... been up since 2 am..

Anyway, thanks for confirming that this was a written tip somewhere... I really thought that I was going crazy! It sounds like the concensus is that both dump you in the same lot, so I will just pick whichever is more convenient. If I could only do something about all my other worries now!
