Please help me decide which building to request. We don't care about being close to food court or bus stop. All we really need is a quiet room close to a parking lot. (We will have our own car and will be driving to everywhere instead of using WDW transportation.) From the map I saw on the web, it looks like the Rock Inn and Broadway hotel are right by parking lots. Has anyone experienced either of these areas and would care to comment on the "magic" they have. How are they themed differently? Thanks so much for your help!

16 more days!!!!

We were there a couple of weeks ago and stayed in Country way in the back. Broadway was beside it as you go towards the front and I thought I would probably ask for that area facing the courtyard if we stay there again. It seemed pretty quiet and I liked the theming of the street going down the center. Rock didn't impress me at all.

I agree. Broadway is quiet, but not the last building in the resort which makes the walk to the Food Court not too bad. Also closer to the piano pool which is my favorite!! :smooth:

We really enjoyed our stay at Jazz Inn this past January. It isn't by a pool, but it isn't in the back either. It isn't a long walk from the busses. That was my big thing. How far do I have to walk when I am ready to just hit the sack?

The first morning there while we waited for the rest of the family, I took the kids walking around the area and there really isn't a horrific walk to any of the buildings. BUT that was when I was full of "Let's get this vacation on a roll energy" Had I taken the walk on our third night I probably would tell you to hang up staying in anything further than Jazz Inn! :)

Have fun
Too many days to start counting down

All the buildings at ASMu are close to parking lots except Country Inn. The Jazz Inn is nice and quiet, although if there are Cheerleaders there no building at Disney World is far enough away to be quiet.:D

Cheers:)

ROFL! You must have been there the same time we were. Yes; cheerleaders are very noisey. Especially when they are doing group hanky panky next door until 4:30 am! It's worse when they are on the other side of a connecting door!

We stayed in Broadway last year and loved it. Quiet, extremely close to the parking lot, and more importantly, close to the pool and laundry room. Let's just say my DH thought I was overpacking--then I had to do laundry twice on vacation!

PS, loved walking through the courtyard in Jazz, but if I walked along the outer perimeter, I had to hold my breath from all the smokers outside the non smoking rooms!
