Hi everyone,

My hubby and I are going to WDW 1/20 - 1/26, we were going to stay at POFQ, but because our $$$ is tight with just having a baby, we are looking to do the Play Stay and Dine at an ALL Star. We are leaning towards Sports, but I am looking for info, reviews, opinions. We would do POP, but no room available for this special at POP.

Thanks in advance!!!

Sports has always treated my family right. We've stayed there on about half of our trips. The only factor to consider with the all stars is the groups of cheerleaders or dancers or football players or the children's ultimate fighting league (ok I made that one up) that is staying there are that particular time. They've never bothered us too much but some people don't like the groups.

We have stayed at Music & Movies liked them both. I would pick Music it seemed to be quieter.

We always stay in music and actually will be there around the time you are! 23-29 on January. It's a great hotel and I don't think anything is very far away. And it never felt over crowded to me

My husband and I are going in December and we opted to try out Music since they tend to put the groups in Sports.

I've stayed at Music and Movies and really liked Music. I'd definitely stay there again. There was something about the giant music statues that I just loved.

We've only stayed at ASMu and ASMo. I love them both but prefer Music. The big pool is fun, and make sure you check out the quiet "piano" pool, too. Ask for Calypso or Jazz, though, so you're not so far away from the food court and bus stops (country, rock and Broadway are the furthest).

Also check to see if there will be any groups. We were there in the summer, and some groups were there as well. They can pose problems.

Have a great time!

I have stayed at Music and Sports, and like Sports a bit better. That could partly be because twice I paid for a preferred room at Music and didn't get it either time. I haven't had that problem at the Sports. But I have also found Sports to have great bus service.

ASSp is the first pick up and drop off when sharing buses (not frequent), which is a small plus. Also, the layout of ASSp is such that you don't need to pay extra for a preferred room - all the rooms are fairly close to the main building.

ASMu is quieter, but you need to book preferred or you may have a hike to your room. It's not really far, but many people like to be closer. If that is an issue for you, you need to consider the layout an what type of room you will book.

A lot of people like the ASMo because of the movie themed icons. IMO, the theme of the large icons is the only going for this one. We generally book ASSp if booking standard rooms and ASMu if booking preferred or a suite.

We will be staying at all star movies in November. I will update as soon as we get back. We have the preferred room so hopefully we are near the main building
