Help! When to go to WDW for the 1st time

We are so undecided on when to go. We can go only in May, September or October. Crowds and weather? It is our first time visiting WDW and traveling so far with the kids and it will be part of the make a wish for my son so I am hoping for a good time to visit. Any suggestions on when to go? Thanks

I can't really help you there; we're both teachers so I've never been during any of those months.

We always go the very last week of May, as soon as the kids are out of school. The weather is great and the crowds are fairly light. Good luck!

We've been all those times. My choice would be October because weather is a little better then and crowds tend to be light. It's also during Food & Wine which is a blast. JMO.

Go in October! There is a special Halloween party at the MK where the kids can dress up and trick or treat and it's food and wine festival!

My dh is trying to talk his work into having a vacation in November. We are pushing so far for October which seems to be the better time then September. If my hubby can take off of November in the first two weeks of the month, how is it weather wise and crowds? thanks.

I'd vote for October - May and September are Love Bug months - and they drove me crazy during our May trip last year!

First two weeks of November are the absolute best times to travel IMHO - perfect weather - warm enough for shorts and swimming but not so you get hot and sweaty - and crowds are light too.
