I used to be a dancer and am a dance teacher. I've dealt with so many foot problems, I don't even want to think about it... That said...

I would probably try getting a full insert that has a good arch support (even if your shoes have some support). The more your entire foot is cradled, and the weight is spread out, the less impact you have on the actual heel.

Also check how you're walking, some people really pound the ground as they walk, try taking lighter steps.

Good luck! Have fun! Hope this helps!

Thanks I never thought about the full Insert?. would you wear them on both feet?

Now we leave on wenseday would you recomend a foot massage on a brusied heel? and is there anything I can do In two days to make It better?

Think about that question for a second... If you had been punched in the arm would you want a massage? OUCH! No please don't get your heel massaged, the bruise is a pool of blood and that would only INCREASE blood flow to the area.

Stay off your feet as much as possible. Wear shoes with good support and if possible use the inserts. I would wear the shoes you're planning on wearing for the trip so that you can make sure it will be at least bearable.

Whenever possible you should be off your feet with your shoes off, but when you are walking around make sure you have shoes on, banging your heel directly into the floor will only make things worse.

Pick up some Oragel... Yes it's for tooth pain, but it's also the most concentrated form of topical anesthetic available over the counter (and a dancer secret for blisters and foot pain). Don't use it now (you don't want to use it all the time), but keep it on you and if the pain becomes worse while you are on your vacation apply it liberally to the area and allow to dry before putting your foot wear back on.

Hope this helps!

Thank you all, accupuncture I will ask around, and the massage ya that makes sense but its funny It hurts when I walk but when I press on It i have to really push hard almost punch it to feel the pain? it does not appear to be on the dricet surface. I will just take It slow and diffently go with the insoles again thatnks:thumbsup2
