HELP ...What to do??? Need advice

Ok if it is true that they are giving DVcer's a discount on the AP. Can I buy a park hopper for this next trip then trade it in the remaining days for the AP to get the discount? They would have to make the AP retroactive till Nov. But I wouldn't mind? Would that work? I would hate to think that we could be saving $350

I think I read somewhere that you could ask for them to apply the PH $$ to the AP if you deciide it would just have to be retroactive. Has anyone done this?

I'd call MS and ask, since they have not given out the details yet. Other than that, all you can do is ask at your resort or the ticket windows.

I'll would think you'd be able to apply the leftover days on the PH to an AP. Several people have reported doing this during their next visit. We are in the same boat...bought 7-day PHP's in October and used three days worth. I'm hoping to trade up as well. Good Luck !

Disney only makes the AP retroactive to the first use of the PH or PHP ticket if you upgrade within 7 days of the first use of the Ph or PHP ticket. The good news here is that you get credit for the full price paid for the PH or PHP ticket (assuming that you bought the PH or PHP ticket from Disney. If you bought it from a broker, you will only get credit for the wholesale price).

If it has been longer than 7 days from the first use, you can get a dollar credit for the remaining unused days of a PH or PHP ticket to apply to the purchase of a new AP. In that case, the AP starts the day you buy the AP.

Both transactions can only be done on site.

If you are a DVC member and just ordered AP's for a Dec-Jan Visit can you use them for the first three days they upgrade them to PAP's and get DVC discount?? If so, would total price paid for orig AP's be applied to new PAP's and how much would they be??
