I can only remember a few of the lyrics.

This song came out in the 1980's. It is about a boy and girl that was out on a date and they wreck. She dies at the scene.

Time Life CD set that my uncle bought. 1964. I LOVED that song. I know all of the words. One of my favorites songs when I was in high school. I believe I have heard the remake, and it doesn't compare to the original.
