I got my tonsils and adenoids removed because I got too many ear infections. (Well, yeah that was like 8 years ago, but I can still remember it) They take you in, sometimes give you a choice of "flavors" that they can put you down with. The nurse was talking to me, and I remember she said "Pretend you're floating on a cloud..where do you wanna go? Disney?" And I remember nodding my head and that's it. The next thing I knew I was in a bed, crying for my mom (Hey, I was 7, and NOT in Disney like the nurse had just discussed!) It kinda sucks, you can't eat solids for like 2 maybe 3 weeks.. And trust me, you CAN get sick of Jell-o, ice cream and popsicles.. but you HAVE to eat the not-so-solid fooods for the whole time the doctor says, cos regular food CAN pull the stitches out.. (Scary experience!) Hope everything goes well!
