Help, We're new and have questions about renting point

Hi all,

My hubby and I are planning a 10th anniversary trip and would like to try out one of the DVC resorts.

We would like to go from 2/20/07-2/23/07 and would like to stay at OKW, Saratoga Springs, or BWV.

We've never rented points before so if anyone could help us out and let us know how it works, and if this is even possible to get a reservation for the times we want to go.

Go to the rent/trade board, and post there. You should receive emails from people who have pts to rent. If you don't, you will have to contact people on that board who have pts to rent. This is an agreement based on trust, though, so if you are not comfortable with this arrangement, go to the regular CRO at 407-WDISNEY, and rent a room thru them at a DVC resort. It will cost you twice as much, but you will be renting thru Disney. Otherwise, you will be sending cash(thru check or Paypal) to a member a month or more before you leave on your trip.

You didn't mention if you have looked at them yet or not, but there's some links at the top of this page that show the point charts and some FAQ's. No one will be able to check availability for until tomorrow as Member Services is closed today. Also, you'll need to tell them what accomodations you want: studio, 1bdrm, etc. Of the three resorts you mentioned, I would be surprised if BWV is available.
