I am in the middle of packing and am starting to panic. I planned on bringing every sleeveless shirt my daughters and I own and that started wondering if we also needed warmer clothing for this time of year. I've packed capris but do we need pants? Do the afternoon thunderstorms cool down the temperatures? Do we need sweatshirts for at night?

When we are at the parks, we do not plan on returning to the hotel so I don't know when we'd even ever wear warmer clothing!

Thanks for your help.

It's Florida and it's August (the hottest month of the year). You shouldn't need any warmer clothes.

Take a small jacket just in case. Don't forget your rain ponchos!

I'm trying to overcome my overpackitis and panicked a little. :p The panchos have been packed days ago in our park bag!!

Thanks for your help.

I always bring a sweater and one warmer outfit. Yes its august but weather is unperdictable. Its been record lows in Indy for the past month of August when we should be getting 90's. In 1997 there was a record low of 65

Don't bother bringing a jacket. Yo won't use it. At night it is still in the 80s ( we won't see the 70s until October) Even when it rains it is hot. The rain just makes it more humid. Use the space for packing your sunscreen.:D

A light long sleeve shirt for the artic AC and that's it's. It August in the south and don't get cold until November.

Hot Hot Hot Hot in August.
