First of all, I am new to this forum, so excuse me if I mess this up.

I am traveling to Disney in June (4th-12th) and staying at the Saratoga Springs Resort with seven other people (8 total). We are on the deluxe dining plan for the first time (we usually do the regular dining plan) and we are hoping to get our money's worth by visiting 2-credit restaurants; however we do not want to spend all of our time eating nor do we want to eat too much!! Our reservations are as follows:

Mon. June 4th: arrive at MCO around noon. Our first meal is at Fulton's Crab
House around 5 PM
Tue. June 5th: Mama Melrose (not sure what time, I believe its around 5 PM)
Wed. June 6th: Spirit of Aloha @ 5:15 PM
Thurs. June 7th: The Crystal Palace @ 9:30 AM, Cinderella's Royal Table @
8:10 PM
Fri. June 8th: Yachtsman Steakhouse @ 7:15 PM
Sat. June 9th: California Grill @ 7:20 PM
Sun. June 10th: Coral Reef (again, not sure what time)
Mon. June 11th: Narcoossee's @ 5:30 PM (wanted later but no luck)
Tues. June 12th: 50's Prime TIme Cafe @ 11:25 AM, Flight home @ 6 PM

I guess I shouldn't be too concerned with eating too much, although if my calculations are correct I believe we each have about 8 extra meal credits as well as 16 snack per person.

I should also add that I wanted to use some of my extra credits to dine at places like Le Cellier and Les Chefs for lunch but I am not sure if I want to compromise my time at the parks.

I would love to hear from some of you and see what you guys think! Thanks!

We're doing the delux plan as well this summer, and I think you definitely need to work in some lunches (or a breakfast to mix things up) to make better "use" of the delux plan. When we go this summer, we're planning on doing 1TS lunches around 11-1130, and then 2TS dinners at 600-630. We have a 9 year old, so we need to feed him before 7!!

For us, doing a lunch and a dinner is a nice mix between casual and signature restaurants, without feeling like we're spending all our time in the restaurant.

Mon. June 4th: arrive at MCO around noon. Our first meal is at Fulton's Crab
House around 5 PM--> 2TS

Tue. June 5th: Mama Melrose (not sure what time, I believe its around 5 PM)-->1TS Can you work in an early 1TSlunch or late (1000) breakfast on this day?

Wed. June 6th: Spirit of Aloha @ 5:15 PM-->2TS again, book a late breakfast

Thurs. June 7th: The Crystal Palace @ 9:30 AM, Cinderella's Royal Table @
8:10 PM-->3TS This day is fine, use your snack credits for lunch munchies if you want Or, book lunch at like 200 a 1TS to use that pesky last credit

Fri. June 8th: Yachtsman Steakhouse @ 7:15 PM-->2TS Book a 1 TS lunch

Sat. June 9th: California Grill @ 7:20 PM-->2TS You'll need a lunch 1TS

Sun. June 10th: Coral Reef (again, not sure what time)-->1TS You could do coral reef for lunch, and book a signature dinner here

Mon. June 11th: Narcoossee's @ 5:30 PM (wanted later but no luck)-->2TS Book a late breakfast or early lunch

Tues. June 12th: 50's Prime TIme Cafe @ 11:25 AM, Flight home @ 6 PM
-->1TS Total used, 16TS out of 24. With my additions, that gets you to 23 out of 24 used (24 out of 24 if you do 3 meals on the day you do CRT). Your arrival and departure days are tricky, due to your flight times, you really can't work in more meals on those days.....you can use snack credits for breakfasty snack items if you get the hungries before lunch, or just get a regular old snack...it's Disney....

In general, I think 3 TS meals every day is too much for us to eat, but we can swing 2 meals and still walk around the parks!
