We were at POR over Spring Break and in 7 days we had one "bad" bus day, but it was Saturday before Easter going to AK for their EMH and then leaving there after a torrential rain storm so I'll chalk that up to poor planning on my part and just bad luck. Other than that, we didn't wait more than 5 mins for a bus. Mousekeeping was GREAT and made cute arrangements with towels and my kids' growing number of stuffed animals/Disney toys every day but one.
This was our second trip at POR and we all LOVED it. This time we were in bldg 16, a bit further than the popular bldg 14, but less than 5 mins from the main bldg/bus stop and there was a quiet pool just around the other side of our bldg. Bldgs 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 in the AB section seemed to all be very nice convenient locations. We were 5 to a room and I myself even slept on the trundle, it was plenty comfy and since we just literally slepts and got ready for the parks in the room, it didn't seem crowded.
One bonus of this resort is it's peaceful atmosphere, a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the parks. You can also pool hop on over to POFQ, it's LEGAL to use their pool too and it's a pleasant boat ride or stroll over there. The breakfasts at Boatwrights are fabulous (dinners were just ok IMO) and Bob Jackson the all ages piano man in the River Roost lounge is a blast!
