Help w/CRT Lunch Menu

Hi everyone! My family has had breakfast at the castle 5 times and dinner once, but we've never been there for lunch. We know what the photos/characters are like, but I would like some input/reviews on a couple of lunch menu items.

Specifically, how are the Major Domo Pie and/or the Foccacia Sandwich? Are they good, bad, or just ok? I know that the main draw is the characters, but with the prices they are charging, we dont want to go there if the food isn't good.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi mmmears, I went to CRT for lunch this past December. I had the Major Domo Pie and thought it was delish! Hope this helps.

I always order the Major Domo pie - it is delicious!

The one thing I miss though was the blueberry muffin with the lemon ice cream.

We were there in January and my DH and I both had the Major Domo Pie. It was wonderful! So good! Our boys both had the foccacia sandwich and they loved it, too. Can't remember what DD had from the kids' menu. We all loved the appetizer plate and while we were there they had a chocolate buckle for dessert. I was really sad they didn't have the blueberry lemon buckle I was looking forward to trying, but the chocolate one was very good, too. Oh, DS16 had the sorbet for dessert and that was super-tasty, too.

I had heard going to CRT was all for the experience and NOT for the food. We decided we'd go just once FOR the experience. I would definitely say we will be back again for the experience AND the yummy food! Have fun!

The lunch menu appealed more to us than the dinner menu, so I was hoping for a good meal. We're so tired when we're running around WDW that we really need a good meal to replenish our energy! Sounds like we're going to have to try this one!

I am eating at CRT again in 13 days (for my birthday!!). I have had the pasta, and it is soooooo good. I also love the BLT salad from the sampler tray. I can't wait!

Keeping my fingers crossed that the Chocolate Cream Cheese Buckle is still there for dessert for lunch next May!!! I really want to try that and, dessert, to me, is almost always about chocolate, LOL!!

I think I'm going to try the Major Domo's Pie since this will be my big meal for the day!!

We usually go for lunch just so that I can get the Major Domo's pie. It is probably one of the best things that Disney has to offer.
