Help using points for 11/07 vacation!!!!

Got the word this morning that we are in, passed ROFR at VWL. Now down to business,
We are planning a trip 11/8 - 11/13, we are purchasing 300 banked points from 2006, and will receive 300 2007 pts in Sept, the trip will use up 382 points. 2bedroom & 2 Studios. how do I handle this?
I understand that I would use the 300 banked points first, use 82 pts from 2007. Do I bank the remaining 218 points? When do I need to bank the 2007 left over points?

Hi.. Make sure that you can use the banked 2006 points in November.. you should be able to..


when you call MS, make your reservation, which you can do now, and confirm that they took the 2006 banked points.. they usually do..

I don't think you can bank the 2007 points until later in 2007, so ask MS when you can bank and then put a reminder in your calander to call MS or go online and bank..
