Hi everyone, just enjoyed a great trip to WDW using the prepaid PP+. Got fantastic pictures from Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Hoop Dee Doo, and 1900 Park Fare, as well as lots and lots of park pictures.

Anyhow, I am trying to "get" all of our photo pass pictures from the parks. Do I have to go through each picture one by one and add the different size downloads for each one and then enter my photo pass code I was sent before our trip, or do I simply select the WDW Photo CD download and add it to my cart? Does that give me ALL the pictures ALREADY TAKEN (I'm paranoid I'm ordering another advance purchase photo pass!). Also, does photo pass plus also entitle me to a backup CD?

Thanks for the help!

When you bought the PP+, you should have received 3 things. 1 voucher for PP+, 1 voucher for the PhotoCD, and 1 gallery CD. You redeemed the PP+ voucher to get the PP+ card and lanyard. The gallery CD is yours to keep and use the pictures as you see fit for scrapbooking, or whatnot. The PhotoCD voucher is what you will use to claim the CD/download of all your PP pictures. It should be the insert inside the gallery CD case. Once you have made all your desired edits, you would add the Photo CD to your cart. On the page where it asks you for payment, there should be a box for "coupon codes" or something similar. You would put the code from the Photo CD voucher in that box. You should then see a credit appear in your cart for the cost of the Photo CD.

Prior to adding the Photo CD to your cart (not any of the pre purchases, the actual CD) you need to make sure that you have done all the edits you want to do. You will get a digital copy of exactly what is it your account. So if you want a picture in 5x7, you need to select the 5x7 Print, and save that. If you want a copy with 2 different borders, then you would need to make and save both edits. You don't have to add all the edits to your cart, simply select the print size, make the edit and click the save button.

If you don't see it in the account, it won't be on the CD.

So you can't just put a picture on the cd? You have to select a size for the picture?

This is only important if you have borders, or edits like Zoom, etc. If you let it default to 5x7, then want to print a picture with a border and a signature in 8x10, when you get that print you will be unhappy, as part of the border will be cut off.

So if you don't know how you will be printing it yet, take the time to save each picture and edited picture (when you edit, it saves that AND saves the original....you could do 5 different edits on one picture and assuming you save each one, you'll have 6 images) in 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10, just so you have *options* when you go to print them wherever you'll print them.

If you want to edit the pictures, yes, go through them one by one. If you want options for printing, yes, save them in each size. It's tedious, but you'll get the hang of it. And it's better to have too many options when it's time to print than to realize that you really really really wanted a 16x20 of that highly edited picture, but if you print it in that size you'll cut off half of what you did.

The CD will swoop up every picture on your account and put them all on the CD. I don't even think it's possible to make another preorder from the normal site; you have to be on the preorder site (which isn't a page you can navigate to, it's a special URL that stands alone).

I'm sure you *could* buy a second CD of it, but why? Get your CD, get a blank CD from home, and copy it. Put them on an external hard drive, too. And on a site like photobucket. Gotta protect your images so if the computer crashes or the baby breaks the CD you've got the pictures in various other places!

I thought the default had changed to 4x6 -- this is what it was when I did Photopass in Oct.

Does anyone have a link to pre-purchase the photopass plus at a discounted rate or know if one is now available for WDW? Need for Feb. Thanks!
