We are leaving on the 22nd for 10 days at WDW. We are on the Dining Plan, and I need help on what should we do between our reservations, and where should we try to get our CS meals in between. Here's our breakdown of our current ADR's, any help is greatly appreciated. We have been to WDW every year or the past 9 years, but never with a plan at all, and never with more than 3 ADR's. I am going with my Dmom, DS(10), DD(4), and me(36) of course. Looking at all the trip reports and pictures of food has me starving, and nothing I have to eat even looks interesting after all the food pictures.
Thanks again.

1/22-arrive about 9am
11:20am Breakfast at Chef Mickey's
6:45 pm Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

1/23-
9:15am Breakfast at Cape May
5:20 Dinner at Boma

1/24-

1/30-
9:05am Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare
5:10pm Dinner at Kona

1/31- leave to go home mid-morning

Also any tips on what time to arrive for the breakfast meals if the parks aren't open, or trying to get into the restaraunts a little earlier than our reservation.
Thanks again.

Which Dining Plan are you on.
If it is just the basic dining plan, you have ADR's for 2 TS meals so far. You are only allowed one. But if you are on the other Dining Plan than you are okay.

1/22-arrive about 9am
11:20am Breakfast at Chef Mickey's
6:45 pm Dinner at 1900 Park Fare
Go to the Magic Kingdom, since you will be in the vicinity of the area. Since you are having a big breakfast at Chef Mickey's, maybe just get a snack like at 3:30. Mickey Ice Cream bars or a Dole Whip.

1/23-
9:15am Breakfast at Cape May
5:20 Dinner at Boma
I would go to the Animal Kingdom today. Maybe change your ADR for breakfast at the Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom. The food is basically the same.

1/24-
12:30pm Lunch at LeCelier
As long as you are in Epcot, go to Norway and they have a small cafe. You could buy sandwhiches and desserts. Mexico has a great C.S. Most of the countries have great C.S. food. At the land, there is Sunshine Seasons, that is a great C.S. area too.

1/25-
9:00am Breakfast at Boma's
6:25pm Dinner at Crystal Palace
It depends what park you are at this day. I would maybe take a rest today and go to the MK later and eat C.s. at your resort.

1/26-
8:55am Breakfast at Akerhaus with Princesses
3:00pm Lunch at Mama Melrose's
Since you will be park hopping today, get pizza's at Pizzafari before you leave Disney Studios and eat pizza for a late snack.

1/27-
11:00am Lunch at SCI-FI Theater
7:00pm Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table
Go to the Boardwalk early in the morning and go to the Boardwalk bakery and pick up a lite breakfast. You can use snack credits here. Then take the Ferry board to Disney Studios

1/28-
7:05pm Dinner at Ohana's
Do a water park today, during the warmer hours. Or take the kids minerature golfing.

Do a water park if you didn't do one yesterday. Or take the kids minerature golfing. Take the Ferry over to Fort Wilderness and horseback ride or go to the petting zoo.

1/30-
9:05am Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare
5:10pm Dinner at Kona
Do MK in the morning and do things you missed

1/31- leave to go home mid-morning
8:30am Breakfast at Tusker House.

Most parks will be open since you have most breakfasts after 9:00 a.m.
I don't know what resort you are staying at. But a good rule is to plan at least 45 minutes to an hour from your resort to whever you are going. You may want to try a good resturant at DownTown Disney. I think you may get sick of eating breakfast. Most breakfast buffets are the same. There is a new dinosaur resturant in Downtown Disney.

Earl of Sandwhich is a good Counter Service Resturant in Downtown Disney.

Since you are within the free window, I will give you the recommended parks for your stay:

1/22 AK
1/23 MK or DS
1/24 EP
1/25 AK
1/26 DS
1/27 MK or AK
1/28 EP
1/29 AK
1/30 MK or DS
1/31 EP

You are keeping yourself away from rope drop by EACH of those breakfast times. All the guides recommend being at rope drop. You really can accomplish alot in the first hour or two that the park is open. People start getting there at about 10. If you are that into breakfast, maybe try to schedule them for at least an hour earlier.

Thanks for the helpful hints. We have always had a hard time getting to an 8am breakfast reservation in the mornings. The kids just can't seem to get going that early.

Are the pools heated during this time of the year, or are they fairly warm? We usually are there in October, and haven't been in January before.

The largest pools on property are heated, but some of the quiet pools are not.
Where are you staying?
