I'd like to basically know absolutely everything please!
Best places to eat (really want to do Walts), best time to go there sort of thing as well? Best dishes?
Best spot for parades and how long to start getting ready for a good spot etc.
Going on the 14th of April to the 17th of April. Will be in the park from about 4 o'clock on the first day which is a Sunday, so want to know which parks to do each day to get the best out of it (like are parks less busy on certain days, waiting times better? Less events happening on certain days perhaps?)
Where to start first thing in the park (Such as say we did the main park on the Monday, with our annual passes we get emh so how should we start and where, the beginning? I read some people say start the furthest away because everyone starts at the beginning making it more busy as you go through)

This all sounds so much so I'm sorry but I just really want to make it the best possible and magical experience for my brother and I.

We'll be available to go in the park by latest 4 oclock on the first day (sunday)
and have all day long for the other days apart from the 17th, the last day (wednesday) which we'd have to leave about 3ish to prepare to get our train.

ALSO sorry to keep going on but what are mustdos in studios show wise and just in general?

I'll shut up now but if you could just pack this thread with loads of help, tips and even if you had a planned itinerary for yourself I'd love to take a look :).
Just want this to be perfect and planned out instead of getting there and not knowing where to start etc.

Thank you to you all! I love this board, everyones so nice :D:cheer2:

I think it depends on how busy the park will be when you get there - I suspect 4pm on Sunday will be busy but others on this board will probably have a better idea than I do...

But what I love about Disney parks (compared to say Alton Towers) is that there is so much to keep you occupied even when the park is really busy and the queues for rides are very long. So if it does happen to be busy - you could watch shows (Cinemagique, Animagique, etc - these have high capacity and so not too affected by crowds), try to watch the parade from somewhere other than main street, have a nice meal (Walt's perhaps - but might need a reservation).

Disneyland Paris also has an app that you can download that has live wait times (though you can only access this if you're within the parks!). There is also at least one other app that has wait times (though this is dependent on people uploading wait times, so can be less reliable). This is great if you want to quickly check which rides have short waiting times!

Where to start first thing in the park - the one EMH I've spent in the park was very quiet - Buzz Lightyear and Peter Pan were walk ons (and Space Mountain had a 5 minute wait before it went down...)! I have some nice pictures of a deserted Main Street from EMH. :) Only Fantasyland and Tomorrowland are open though.

Also - use Fastpasses if you can!

Which parks to do: If you have an annual pass that means you can park-hop! The parks are right next to each other - probably about 10 minute walk from the centre of one park to the other. The advantage of park-hopping is that you're not limited to a single park, and the Fastpass machines are disconnected between the parks, so you can get more Fastpasses! WDS also tends to close earlier than Disneyland so you could head over to Disneyland when WDS closes.

My list of must-dos in WDS:
- Crush's coaster - usually has an insanely long queue but I really liked it!
- Rock and Roller coaster
- Tower of Terror (I like my thrill rides and roller coasters...)
- Cinemagique (very inventive!)
- Animagique (fun - though Cinemagique is better in my opinion)

And... don't miss Dreams! Which is a firework/projection/etc show on the castle at park closing time. One of the best Disney night time shows I have ever seen!

Planned itinerary wise for myself - I have an upcoming trip next week (:yay:) and my list of things I want to do so far:
- Rides: Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Molly Brown / Mark Twain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan, It's a Small World, Space Mountain, Buzz, Disneyland Railroad, Crush's Coaster, RC racer, Rock and Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror
- Walk-throughs: Aladdin, Nautilus, Alice's Maze, Adventure Isle (managed to miss out on these before), Castle
- Shows: Cinemagique, Motors Action stunt show, Stitch
- Parade (if possible want to see both the Stars and Cars one in WDS and the 20th anniversary parade in Disneyland)
- Dreams
- Food: Walt's, BBWWS (though still have to book these...), Earl of Sandwich.
In practice all of the above is going to be subject to how busy the park is, and also what my friends might want to do!
Am also planning to spend some time just wandering around seeing how beautiful the park is - I've found it difficult in the past to take time to just explore (hence missing out on the walk-throughs), but am determined to stop simply rushing from one ride to another without stopping to smell the flowers so to speak!

Hope this helps - I seem to have rambled on for quite a bit...!

If you really want to eat at Walt's I'd suggest making reservations in advance (or at least when you get there if you don't want to phone beforehand) as it isn't always open every day (except in high summer season) and the last seating will probably be 3:45pm. It's my favourite restaurant and I've only eaten off the main menu but lots of people recommend the Express lunch.

I wouldn't worry too much about working the park backwards - that advice is often given for the US parks, especially Universal, but I don't think it's so applicable to DLP. Use EMH for any rides that are open in Fantasyland and Discoveryland, and try to get to EMH for opening as you will find it gets busier between 9am and 10am as opposed to between 8am and 9am.

I also really recommend Cinemagique at the Studios - it's my favourite show there. :goodvibes
