loved Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Rose & Crown. Chef Mickey's breakfast was good (haven't done any other meals there.)

Thought Boma dinner was awful. Ordinarily, we are very adventurous with our food choices...love Asian, love curries, love Moroccan, Mexican, Greek, French, Italian, etc. But at Boma, no-go. Either totally bland & tasteless or very, very overspiced with odd combinations. Too loud, too crowded and incredibly long lines at all buffet stations the whole time we were there.

I highly recommend Kona Cafe` over `Ohana. I thinks it's better food, plus you can pick out what you want. Coral Reef has great food, as does Le Cellier, Boma, and Teppan Edo.

Yes, you might get bad service at one place, and get great service at the next. That's everywhere you go. There are a million bad reviews of Coral Reef, I LOVE it there!!! I've gotten a couple of bad servers, but I don't let that stop me from going there. I've been there 4 times and the food each time was GREAT!!!

I've never really had a bad TS meal at WDW. Some weren't as good as others. You just learn from the experience and choose another place next trip. Funny as it is, California Grill wasn't, IMO, not worth 2 TS credits. But others do. :confused3

Just study the menus and pick out a place that pops for you. :yay:

I'm glad to see Boma is rating so high as we have never eaten there before and since we are staying at AKV for 5 nights I really want to try it this time

I recommend eating there when the dinner buffet first opens up. There was no one ther the first 30 minutes we were there, but it quickly filled up. I never waited over 4 minutes for food, and that was at the meat table.

Tony´s is the only place in WDW we DID NOT like in any way. Service was horrible, the food was bad, you name it. And we are definately not hard to please people.

We LOVE Boma and Coral Reef. Apart from the character meals, which the kids love (and we do too), these two are our definite favorites.
I could seriously eat at Boma every day.

Our favorite character meal is Crystal Palace. We love the setting, the food and the character interaction is great.

BREAKFAST AT 1900 Park fare was the best food we´ve ever had at a character breakfast and characters were great :)

sounds like good advice...thank you:thumbsup2

I picked 7 in the survey, but I can tell you that 2 of the places you have you couldn't pay me to eat at again: Planet Hollywood (even w/ those free vouchers we won't go) and Tony's Town Square. PH was beyond nasty, poor service and I've had better burgers at McDonalds, and we tried it a 2nd time thinking it was an off night. But don't worry PH at all places stinks, we have had it at the beach too. TTS was extremly slow service, crowded, late seating for our ADR time, loud, and the food was cold and not good.

thanks for the info on PH....we tried it on our first trip to WDW in 2003 and it was terrible...it took so long to get our food (they lost our order):confused3
I think the server just forgot to turn it in....but after sitting there for over an hour I don't even remember what the food was like...we thought maybe we would try it again, but now I think NOT!

I am going to be one of the only ones on here that is going to not agree with 'Ohana. In the past I use to love going here and would not miss a trip to Disney without going. The past few times we went, it was terrible. Each time I swore I would not go back, but kept hoping it was just that time that we went. The woman who does the entertainment needs a new act and her voice started going right through me. The food, I thought got extremely salty.

We enjoy the following now:
Teppan Edo
Le Cellier
T-Rex
Raglan Road
Whispering Canyon
50's Prime Time
Narcoossee

we have done dinner at 'Ohanas the past 2 trips and I guess we were lucky as the food and service was awesome....it is our new favorite place to eat and a must do for us (assuming I can get an ADR):rolleyes1

Not on your list and highly recommended:
Jiko's
Citrico's
Yachtsman's Steakhouse (better than Le Cellier, within walking distance of it, and easier to get in!)
Artist Point
San Angel Inn
Flying Fish Cafe

We have reservations for Ohana twice during our 5-day stay, if that tells you anything. And my family wants me to make it three.

'Ohana
Boma
Chef Mickey's
LeCellier
Rose 'n Crown
Tusker House

To me these are just more unique and "Disney" than the others. You can eat at places like the others anywhere! I only chose 6 from your list. I HIGHLY recommend HDDR if you haven't tried it, or Chefs de France or Crystal Palace.
