Help us find a new TS this year please!… come on inside!

Thanks all!

The many suggestions for Kona Cafe has me thinking.

We were planning on doing Ohana's at the Poly, but which would you choose between Ohana vs Kona and why?

We haven't been to either one, and would like to visit the Polynesian for dinner. Either option would work.

Thanks in advance.

Dan

I LOVE both...but I think I prefer Kona for breakfast. They have an amazing breakfast. O'hana we went to the first time for Thanksgiving 2010, I was instantly inlove. I cant wait to go back. The food was so delish, our view was AMAZING, the servers were so kind and warm and inviting, and did I mention the food was DELISH! lol...I loved everything. And its family style so great to take with your family!

Don't give up Ohana!!!! It was our best meal our last trip!!! I still would have you do Kona as well!!! We just love going over to the Poly. After one of your meals if it's late enough you can watch Wishes from their beach. It is something we look forward to every trip! Kona has great entrees & incredible desserts. It doesn't feel like the same experience since Ohana is family style and Kona is off the menu. My kids favorite is the Kona Cone!!!:)

Epcot: my favorite so far has been Biergarten. The food was good and the environment is fun fun fun! We have had San Angel (food is decent, love the atmosphere), Marrakesh (belly dancers fun, food ok) and hubby. And I loved Tutto. This year we want to try Cellier and trying to decide about Rose & Crown and Chef de France.

We thought about Teppan Eco because we love Japanese hibachi but people told me if we have one at home we may be disappointed. And we do have one in our town we love so want to go somewhere different.

We have enjoyed 50's at two different visits. The place is fun and the fried chicken is yummy! I recommend it.
Whispering canyon is fun too. Wehave done Ohana before and are thinking about Kona for this year. Good luck with your choices!

Well, the winner goes too...............

drum roll...........................

TEPPAN EDO!!!!:goodvibes

We have a couple of this style restaurant in our area. I think Teppan Edo will be very fun for our kids. My older daughter and my son haven't been to a Japanese steakhouse like this, so they will get a kick out of it, and my younger daughter LOVES to go with a friend of hers (they invite her along). My wife and I also enjoy going to our local Japanese steakhouse, but its been a while and this will be a fun return. We like asian cuisine and the atmosphere, so we'll give it a try this Sept.

...and based on the other comments we'll keep Ohana over Kona Cafe!

Thank you everyone for the time to add your fav's to my list. :thumbsup2 I'm sure the other choices you mention are also excellent and I'll remember them for future stays in the world.

Cheers to you all, and thanks again. :smickey:

Via Napoli is our "new" place that I'm most looking forward to this year. We did have Teppan Edo booked based on the many positive reviews. But in the end I decided it didn't sound any better than our local Japanese steakhouse, which is also very good btw. I just wanted something different than home.
