I'm sure there's quite a few of you thats ben to these.

Choices for our bank holiday are..

Drayton Manor-Anyone visited here? What's it like for smaller thrill seekers?

Chessington's world of Adventures-Same question again really.

Pleasure Beach-Only went a couple of week's ago and fancy a change.

Which is better?

Alton Towers is out as we were not impressed at all last visit.
Camelot-Wasn't much there for the kid's and what was there bored them a little.

Help us decide,Please.

We've only been to Drayton Manor from your list, and it's a great day out. It's not on the scale of Alton Towers, but it has some good rides and there's a zoo there too

My daughter Vicki who is 16 went to Chessington last week with her Step Brother and Step sister who are 6 and 4, she said that there was loads for them to do, and a few thrill rides for her, she really enjoyed it there.

If you're coming down from Blackpool then I'd go for Drayton Manor. A very good day out and some excellent "stand-up" Thrill rides.

As a park I would say Chessington is better, but travelling round the M25 (especially Bank Holiday) will take up most of your day!

Er ... none of the above! They'll be way too busy on a Bank Holiday weekend.

We're going to Bolsover Castle ath the weekend as they have a Knights Tournament on. We're hoping for picnic weather, to see some good old jousting, archery & sword fighting.

Go on, do something different from a crowded theme park!

I guess anywhere will be a nightmare on a Bank Holiday.
Are the kids too old for Gullivers World (>8 ?). Thats ok for the younger children, although it is just a collection of fairground rides really.

Whatever you do, its bound to be better than what I'm doing.....knocking down my garage and getting rid of asbestos.

We love Chessington, Thorpe Park and Drayton Manor. We found Drayton Manor to be the quietest, but would not dream of going to a theme park on a bank holiday. We always find that the inset days are excellent for theme parks.

It was bad enough going to WDW during Memorial day weekend last year, Never again!

Tron-Though they are not quite too old for gullivers World (7),i'm not sure that it has the rides they will be interested in.There into fast,higher the better rides.One was quite miffed at being to small for blackpool's Pepsi Max. Much to my relief

I think we have finally decided on Drayton Manor

I'm sure whatever you do it's going to be busy.

Do you all think it would be better going on saturday instead of monday?
