I know... completely different resorts. We have 3 daughters, ages 12, 8, and 2. We are planning a June 2018 trip and generally we really like Caribbean Beach, but we want to try something different (esp with renovations) The kids would love the pool at Yacht Club and we'd still have a bed for 5th person. We would also enjoy the walk to Epcot. Kids really like Epcot and all of the different countries and foods, too. On the flip side, the suite at AOA is bigger and even the 12 year old still enjoys all of the bright Disney magic. And it still has a great pool.

Is there something that can help us decide? Beds better at one place? Family activities better at one place? Transportation? We've been to Disney many times so we don't just use the resort as a place to sleep.

Yacht Club by a mile. Beds and room are far more comfortable and you will be within walking distance of two parks. The pool and resort amenities are also so, so much better than AoA. We stayed at AoA the first year it opened and it was incredibly loud and uncomfortable (worst bedding I've ever experienced anywhere). The food court is also a chaotic mess.

We’re doing a split stay for spring break. 3 nights at AoA (Nemo suite) followed by 5 nights at BCV.

It lowered our total cost and the kids really wanted to try out AoA.

We just did a split stay AoA Cars and CR (kids age 7/7/4). At AoA, we appreciated the table, kitchenette, secondbath, and quiet place for the youngest to nap. Didn’t like that every park required folding a stroller and bussing.

At CR (and even more so at YC), we appreciated proximity and less stroller folding! But we did miss the table and the quiet nap space a lot.

Neither has a great quick service food option for my family. AoA’s food court feels hectic to us with kids. Yacht Club doesn’t have much period...

It all depends on what your family values most, I think!
