Yes! So I've talked my husband into getting APs for our trip in April 2005 and much to my surprise he said we should get as much use out of them as possible so he said we'll also take a trip in the fall/winter of 2005 and again in spring 2006...now the question is to go mid Oct for MNSSHP and food and wine (but thats not too important to us) or early Dec for MVMCP. It will be just the two of us (Disney newlyweds) and are lookng forward to it being off-season. I know Oct is great weather, but we are from Canada and to get away from the snow in Dec, might be very nice too.
What party/time of year would you choose and why?
Thanks!

personally, i would choose december...i amj actually getting my own AP this january and want to have a trip next december! Im more of a "christmas" personthan a "halloween" person , so i think i would live the Christmas party better ....plus, sometimes New JErsey weather is horrible in Dec, and i would love to get away...
either way, im sure its fun!

We just did Halloween and it was a lot of fun. However, I think I'd probably suggest that you and your dh go in early December. I'd love to do that with just dh and I - I think the low crowds would be great and it would be a more romantic time of year. Holding hands at a Disney Christmas party with "snow" falling sounds like heaven to me!

Have fun choosing and planning!

:) Michele

We've been to both parties. The Halloween party was much more fun! Christmas was okay, but we liked the MNSSHP so much we tried to get tickets to do it twice in the same week! Didn't happen, but we tried. Dh in particular was iffy about the Halloween party beforehand, the night of the party he was looking at costumes to get to wear to the next one!
Having said that, early December is one of the nicest possible times to do Disney. The parks are gorgeous for the holidays and the crowds are some of the lowest of the year. Lots of holiday happenings, and with the exception of the party, basically free. Weather can be cold, averages are low 70's for highs and low 50's. Our first trip it was warm-mid 70's to low 80's and muggy(for Dec, nothing campared to summer). Last year, 60-75 for highs, lows in the upper 30's to 50. Much cooler! However, to me 65 and sunny is shorts and tshirt weather, it beat the foot of snow we flew out of. The natives were freezing:)
While I like both times of year, and they are both worth doing, for your newlyweds trip do Christmas. Disney is magic anytime, but Christmas is something extra special.
