Help trying to plan our Disney trip

Hello all

I need all the advice and help that I can .I am planning a bday trip for my 6year old .I will arrive the day before her bday 8/1 and then 8/2 let her do Magic Kingdom. Since my husband will be deployed it will be just me and the kids 1 adult and 4 kids 1 of them being 1yr old.I need a resort with a little kitchenette .fridge microwave close to Magic Kingdom .I looked at BLT since we are going to AK on Friday that would be an option also open to ideas please suggestions ,tips anying please.

BLT or WLV (Wilderness Lodge) Villas are the way to go for the MK area.

AKV/Kidani would give you a very nice pool area (best young-kids pool at WDW) for the kids. A Savanna-view room there would get you a view of the animals.

I'm sorry that I don't really have any tips because we just took our first trip in almost 20 years in October. And I've never stayed anywhere in WDW that had a kitchenette.

You are one brave woman! I cant magine taking my three to disney when DH is deployed... You'll need a good nap when it's over! Best wishes to your husband on his deployment but might want to edit the date per opsec.

And my two cents - If you find the MK resorts too much $$, perhaps a family suite at the new Art of Animation resort or at All Star Music? Those have microwaves & refrigerators and two rooms - might be a good fit for 5 of you! Good luck!
