OK so to figure the cost of a package using "the code" --I break it down like this.
(1)The code gives 40% off rack room rate plus tax
+plus+
(2)Dining cost per person per night at the resort without tax added
+plus+
(3)Cost of tickets per person per day

Here lies the question....
I went to the WDW web-site and priced tickets only.
The final cost included TAX.
Ex: 10 day hopper for 4A = $1016 plus tax = $1082.04

I am assuming that the amt w/ tax ($1082.04) is the amt I should use to figure the cost of my pkg. Is this correct?

Thanks for your math help!!!!:goodvibes

i always book packages with just a 1 day base ticket and upgrade the ticket when i get there to exactly what we will use(sometimes we hop, sometimes we don't and we don't always go to parks every day) Then at the end of the trip we don't have to add non expire because there are left over days and the total that I have to pay 45 days out is less giving me more saving time.:)

Thanks that's an idea! I haven't thought of that...I may do that/I still have to calculate best method for us. We are going to have dining and then change resorts or go to room only so we aren't paying for dining every day. I am trying to figure all different ways for best deal in our family's case. I still am not sure about the tax part.....when I figure a package w/ tickets online...the price seems different than when you figure tickets only....I'm confused!
