help! trip in 3 days, have to switch dates! :(

My exH is being awful and has refused to let me pick the kids up early this weekend as originally agreed upon. So now we won't be able to leave for our Disney trip until Sunday morning, instead of Saturday afternoon. We were planning on being in the parks Sunday & Monday- and have breakfast with Minnie reservations Sunday morning that I'll have to cancel. Our hotel reservations (made thru the Disney website as a package w/ our tickets at a good neighbor hotel) were for Saturday & Sunday night. Now we need Sunday and Monday night! Is there any way to switch the dates? Or are we just stuck? Will our tickets still work fine? Im so frustrated and near to tears right now. :'( I've been saving up for this trip for years and it'll be my first time taking the kids (ds5 and dd3). If I called Disney and/or the hotel and explained the situation would they be able to help? Or do I just have to cut my loses with the Saturday night hotel res. and just add another one on?

I believe the reschedule fee is $75. Just call Disney and see what they can do. I'm sorry you have to change your plans.

I am looking at my confirmation for a DisneyLand package and it say 0 to 4 days out there is a $75 change fee. But you might run into problems with hotel availability or pricing. The tickets should work fine though.

Can your attorney intervene to keep the trip as is?

Is there anyway to talk to your ex and tell him that the trip is already planned and paid for and lie and tell him you can't switch the dates because there's no hotel availability for monday night?

Maybe ask him why he's being so unfair about this and if there's a reason why he's not sticking with the plan?

Tell him by changing the dates he is disappointing the kids becaue they won't get to go like originally planned. Even if he hates you I see no reason why he should be so unfair to the children.

Talk to him reasonablly no yelling maybe he'll change his mind. Good luck!

Why do some people do this? It's bogus! I'll stop there,on that point. Take the kids,have the best possible time and hopfully they will only remember only the GOOD time they had instead of a snag.
