Help! Traveling with 4 kids, and need a stiff drink in my room!

Help, please! I'm going to WDW with my hubby and 4 kids. I really need to know if I can buy a bottle of 'hard' liquor at my hotel's gift shop, since I will be at the mercy of Disney Transportation. I realize I can buy a single drink at the bar, but we are talking "big guns" after a day of tramping all over the world. Help me, please. We are staying at the Beach Club near Epcot. I just need to know that I can buy myself a bottle of something and mix with my coke when I think I'm going to loose my mind!!!

All of the resort hotels offer "airport" bottles of a selection of spirits, as well as pints of some if the most popular brands.

I don't know about the liquor but at least you can walk them to pure exhaustion. That way you are guaranteed rest at the end of the day.

I believe you can. We stayed at Saratoga Springs in November of 2005, where we own, and my husband bought a bottle of Absolute. Which I hate. But when one needs something strong any type will do. You know what I mean ? Good Luck. We have 4 kiddos as well.

I know at ASMu in 2004 I bought wine and my mother bought whiskey. I know she got more than those tiny one drink bottles. I don't how big it was since I don't drink the stuff though.

I have not experienced it since we stay offsite, but I have heard you can at some of the resorts.

We are 1 short of basketball team, too (<--check the name). Once we get back from the parks, kids are tuckered out and after 1 or 2 drinks we are out as well...

you might consider renting a 2-bedroom at BCV from an owner - unless you got a great deal on your BC unit - it might be close in price.

then you can close the door on the kids....

the place to buy individual bottles is at Marketplace at BC - but I do enjoy their pool bar too!!!

Carefully wrap and place the bottle in a zip lock bag and place the bottle in your checked luggage. You will not be able to transport the bottle in your carry ons.

We have done this more than once. We put it in a Ziplock bag, then double or triple wrap with plastic grocery bags. Never a problem with this in our checked luggage.
