HELP!Travelers Checks in the theme parks

I have travelers checks in $100 denominations and I was wondering how easy those were to break at counter service? Also, I thought that I remembered in the past that at MK you could cash them at City Hall ? Am I right or totally off? If you can't cash them at City Hall can you cash them at yur Resorts Guest Services?

We used to do this all the time.
Never had a problem anywhere in WDW using traveler's checks.

Hi Wendy,

Travellers checks are generally accpeted as cash so I would think you could use them at CS places in the parks. If not, then you could definitely cash them at Guest Services in the resort.

I always use travelers checks. Have never had a problem cashing them at any counter service or store in WDW. They also help me stay on budget!

Thanks everyone for the help I was just worried that they wouldn't cash a $100 travelers check at a counter service if we bought a small amount of food.
