We are planning a trip in 2 weeks with our 2 granddaughters, who have never been to Disney. :love:I am coming from WI, and am shocked at airfare. I just started checking and even with every airport within 3 hours, the lowest fare is $335. That gets us in at midnight! Not OK for a 7 and 5 yr old.

So, I am looking at booking a 1 way from Rockford to Sanford on Allegiant, and a 1 way from Tampa to Milwaukee on Airtran. Times are good, fares in the $250 range. Not great but better.
Trouble is, car rental for a SFD pick up to TPA drop off is over $300 for Mon-Fri.
Jeesh. My husband says forget it, we'll go next year.:sad2: Trouble is, our foster daughter ALREADY told them they are going. Since it is a last minute thing, we were trying to keep it under wraps.
What would your advice be to save $ on car, shuttle, etc. We are trying not to do too much running around because of the girls younger ages. The trip is planned for 6/14- 6/18. Thanks in advance for any advice you have!
