Help to convince DH to go again

Hi

I rearly want to go to WDW in November. We've been twice before, the last time was Nov 2004. I need to come up with lots of new things to convince DH it won't be "Just the same all over again ".

So far i've got

EE at AK
Soarin at EPCOT
Airboat rides at Boggy creek
Stunt car show at MGM
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at MK
Dinner show at the poly
Raglan road irish pub at DTD

Any more ideas?

My suggestions are:
- Consider doing a twin centre - maybe a week (or a few days) on the West Coast or Miami might be "different" enough?
- How about Universal/IOA/Sea World - have you done those?
- Have you been to Kennedy Space Centre - have you been there? It is very interesting and boys like space.
- How about a short cruise our of Port Canaveral?

All of these things combine wlel with Disney...

I've persuaded (bullied) DH to go back at Christrmas:

a) managed to find flights at a good price
b) we're staying on a villa on a $15 a round golf course Christmas week and I've promised we will be more laid back. We're onsite the previous week when it's quieter, hopefully with dining plan so I don't nag him about extravagant ordering!!
c) our eldest of 3 will be 17, and youngest 10 (she was only 5 last time) so it will be the last time we all go together.
d) he does like warmer weather!!
e) muttered something like Gulf Coast on Christmas day!!

I always use the 'early night?' proposition and for me it seems to work
I also badger him about it for weeks leaving the holiday brochure open where he can find it and I think just to shut me up he finally agrees.
It also helps that DS who is only 3 and a half is as Disney mad as I am and remembers things from previous trips which I ask him to tell his Daddy about.
He does have a great time when we are there but when we book now we tend to do Disney for a few days first before going onto somewhere else so we both get what we want

Don't forget St Augustine and Talahassee

Haven't been to Talahassee, but have been to St Augustine (about 25/26 years ago! think I was 6 or 7 at the time!!!). I still remember it though - charming place. Lots of history and the residents are very proud of it. Well worth a visit (although a bit of a trek from Orlando, I think?)

There's so much to do that I can convince DH most of the time, even though he's not the Disney nut I am..

How about going boating or fishing. Maybe even parasailing.
taking time to kick back & relax and enjoy the pool at the resort
have you been to the waterparks, the new slides at Typhoon Lagoon are great
Take one of the backstage tours or the Segway tour at Epcot
Don't go at a frenzied pace trying to do/see everything, stop and enjoy the details
Draw a character at the Animation Gallery
do Disney Quest at DTD
etc..

and if all else fails......Go Solo!!

Not heard of this one - any more info, althought i can't draw to save my life but it still might be fun.

Done the segway tour but would do it again if we go!!

I have done the vip tour which was very good it was great to have a private tour guide

What sort of things did you do on the VIP tour Anna, how much did it cost and how long was it please?

The tour is six hours minimum and you pay by the hour, its aound $125 an hour no matter how manys in your group.

Our tour guide was Brandy, she gave us loads of interesting facts while going round the park, got all the fast passes, we got special reserved seats in the shows, plus a special viewing place for the parade. she helped with shopping and even arranged our meals etc for the day. It was a great time and I am considering doing this again, one of the best bits was getting to ride btmrr in our own train!
