DH and I will be celebrating his B-day in the worls the end of September. I will be about 15 weeks and was hoping some DIS vets could suggest some yummy drinks I can have with no alcohol in them! I figure in a week I am going to get very bored of water and lemonade!

I plan to try a Dole Whip and have read a few locations have smoothies. Any other suggestions? Especially in EPCOT?? and any pool side drink ideas?

Note: I have a coconut allergy.

Thanks for the help!

Fortunately Disney has many children visiting who can't order alcohol either, so there are lots of great choices around the world. :goodvibes

I liked the icees and slushies at Epcot, they're available at various stands all around the park.

Smoothies and milkshakes are also available about everywhere too. You can even see if they can make a Pirate Punch in an adult size versus a kiddie cup.

I made three pregnant trips to Disney (11, 15 and 34 weeks) and had great trips each time.

I just returned from WDW at 26 weeks pregnant!

My favorite thing was the smoothies in Tomorrowland. It's near Mickey's Star Traders. I LOVED the strawberry banana! Other then that...I drank a lot of bottle water.

I'd suggest a Kaki Gori from the stand by Japan in Epcot. It isn't a drink but it is YUMMY, refreshing, and will help keep you hydrated too. They are shaved ice with flavoring, kind of like a snow cone but SO much better.

Be aware, most of the lemonade around disney property is "light" lemonade and I believe it has some sort of artificial sweetener in it. I know that my doctor advised staying away from artificial sweeteners when I was pregnant. Not sure how you or your doctor feel about it, but just wanted you to be aware since you specifically mentioned lemonade.

We saw a few places with icee/slushie type drinks that looked really good but we didn't get any. Also, don't forget about the dole whip floats!

As far as the pool side drinks, I'm sure they will make most of them in a non-alcoholic version also.

also, beware that many drinks have artificial dye in them. i didn't know too much about it during my first pregnancy but now that i do know, i avoid food dye during pregnancy (and all the time really)

personally, i don't think a little articial color will hurt you or the baby but it is not a bad idea to use moderation....and, yes, dole whip has yellow dye and a bunch of other artificial stuff in it :sad2:

I too am a fan of the Kaki Gori in Japan...yummy shaved ice! There's also a tinkerbell slush in MK near where the funnel Cakes are...I think it was watermelon and sour apple. Delicious!

Also, I know you said you were tired of water, but PLEASE be aware that you can got into ANY counter service restraunt and just ask for some water and they will give it to you. :thumbsup2

Have fun! Stay cool and hydrated!

Wow thank you all for the interesting tips!

This sounds yummy I love strawberry banana smoothies! this will make my Must-Try list!

What do you drink at home :confused3

See normally at home I drink alot of water, ice tea or lemonade when out, but being vacation I wanted to try some different things! I'm not a huge water fan with food, I like more flavor :):)

This sounds very interesting, I just might have to try that!

Interesting.. My dr does know I use those crystal light packets in my water, which have artificial sweeteners in them and never mentioned it to me :confused3 I have an apt this week, so I will specifically ask her. Thanks:)

I can't even begin to imagine how much food dye there is in the food I eat!:scared1: I really hope its not that bad :rolleyes1

Thanks I did know this :cool1: and I'm sure I will take advantage of it! $2.00-$2.50 for a bottle of water  +:scared1: and of course I would never finish it before its warm, so I would want another one, or atleast a cup of ice :goodvibes

Have fun! Stay cool and hydrated!
