HELP!! Third Grade Science Project

I need help from my creative DIS friends. I have a total block. My DD with the help of her parents must create an invention which utilizes a simple machine (lever, inclined plane, pulley). The invention must be useful and make a job easier. If anyone has any experience with this type of project, I would appreciate any ideas. Thank you!!

how about modifying tha infomercial thing the Gopher, maybe magnetize it, or add tape on it.. I dont know just an idea,

Fishbone - Yes, we have to make it. I'm thinking if its something very large, we will make a scaled down model.
