Hey Everyone,
I am new to the board and could use some help! We are planning a Thanksgiving 2004 trip (only due to school schedules) and would love imput from anyone on weather, crowds or any hints for a great trip! We have been spoiled by always going the 1st week of December, so I am really worried about the trip! We are coming in the Friday prior to Thanksgiving and spending 8 nights at the Caribbean Beach!!

Any Tips are apprecaited!

The weather shouldn't be much different than the week after that you have gone before.

We went last Thanksgiving, arrived on Sunday and left on Saturday. We didn't think that the crowds were all that bad. We went to MK at the first part of the week because I had read on these boards somewhere that it gets more crowded as the week progresses. The only day that I felt was really crowded was on Friday our last day there and we were at Epcot. My daughter was doing the Kidcot stations and they definately were crowded. The rest of the park was fine.

We took breaks in the middle of the day, sometimes to go back to our room and eat. Another time we ate at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge just to have a change of scenery. We rode the boat over from the MK and it was so relaxing. We also took time off from the parks to swim, play miniature golf and rent the water mice. We just took it easy and didn't rush to anything.

If you can, I would get a cooler and have breakfast/lunch/snacks available in your room. This helps cut down on the cost of food. And also, its there if you are just too tired to leave the room later in the day.

This last trip we decided to do some things that we hadn't done before. It was fun changing up our days and not spending it solely in the parks.

If you have any other questions, just let me know and I'll try to answer them.
