Need your help

While I sit here waiting for someone to answer my call at Disney Reservations . I already booked a Dream Maker Package POR for June 28th - July 7th total costs $3486.89 . If my calculations are correct if I purchased everyone in my Family PAP's that will be $2496.45 and get the rate offered for room only at POR $1094. The grand total will just be an additional $100 but I will be able to visit Disney World next year and not worry about Park Tix...big savings...right? Should I go ahead and make the change...

Are you changing your dates, because the AP code goes through July 4 not 7th?

Emmabelle - I'm not changing my dates...but the AP's are discounted for Check-ins through July 4th....

I hope I'm right....anyone know's?

I saw the July 7th return date, so I just didn't know if you knew that the code ended on the 4th, so you've have to pay rack rates for those days after the 4th. I wasn't sure if you already had airfare booked that would have to change also for a cost. Do you have any add-ons on your dream maker package for food, because that would make a difference.

You will probably not be able to get July 5th - 7th discounted. I saw a post on another thread were the person had to do a split reservation to get the code. If you as for AP Rates through July 7th the CM will tell you none are available. If you ask for AP Rates to July 4th they will have them. Be careful because you and the CM could get confused.

Actually CRO did extend the rate for us when we went at xmas even though the code ended on Dec 25, and we didn't check out until Jan 2, so ignore my previous thinking.

I would buy the AP's if it truly were only a $100 difference since the likelihood of General Codes coming out aren't looking so good.

I went ahead and changed/made a room only reservation using the PAP codes for POR June 28th - July 7th - The room discount was given through July 7th.
