We are a family of 3 from Oklahoma, every one is in school here Nov. 6-12. Thought it would be a great time to take our 3yo for his first trip. My question is with some states out of school part of that week. Are we talking high season type numbers? What will the crowds be like?

Hey - Welcome to the DIS! :)

That will be a busy week, but not a "spring break" crowd or like that. The end of that week will be getting very busy, as many kids have days off that week. Friday November 10 and Saturday November 11th will be VERY busy, as there is a three day weekend for Veteran's Day there. The week before and the week after are far less busy, if you have flexible dates and want to change. But even so, we went during "Jersey Week" before, and with normal trip planning, everything was fine! We are going again this year. :)

Many people expect early November to be empty and all rides "walk-ons", but things have changed. With so many kids with days off from school (Veterans Day, Election Day, kids from Jersey have two days off, etc) it will be busier than other weeks around it. But it's still do-able! :)

We went last year and are going back this year. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd say the crowd levels are about a 6.
Plan accordingly and you'll be fine.
