Help settle this argument

Ok, the kids and I had Beefaroni for lunch today. I've never had it, but I've eaten my share of Spaghettios growing up, and it was very similar. The oldest kid loved it and wants more, the youngest kid ate it but does not want more LOL. I still don't prefer it to Spam, but I'll acknowledge that it was decent and I'd be willing to eat it again. Now I need to try your homemade version @low-key

And I had spam for breakfast, i wouldnt of even tried it but Kityyblue was telling me how salty it was, and that made me want it, I love to be thirsty and I love to pee, anyway I got to admit it was really good for breakfast, but just say no to spam in any other way

I can eat Beefaroni cold out of the can. When my son was young I was so happy to be buying it again. Those noodles...? Just something about the mouth feel. Chef Boyardee nailed it!

A year growing up when money was tight Mom got Spam creative. It wasn't bad and it's great on a budget because one can serves 8 ppl enough sodium for the week. Pork fat, pork collegen, pork lips and whatever else. Crisp the edges or fail. Spam omelettes, Spam version of BLTs, Spam and Pork.n.Beans, Spam potato hash (Yeeeessss), Spam Cubans, etc.

Can we add Dinty Moor stew? I loved it over egg noodles as a kid. I introduced it to my kid 2 months ago as a lark but it actually was good. Maybe even be a bit better today because it no longer smells exactly like Alpo.

We don't eat much processed stuff at dinner. Mostly straight up simple meat potato veg classics. Maybe this week I'll go for the trifecta and serve all 3 canned goods in the same meal :^D

Spam Less Sodium. It also allows the use of soy sauce without it turning into a couple sodium bomb.

Spam has never been mystery meat, although some Spam competitors do use snouts. It's always been pork shoulder and ham. Pork shoulder isn't terribly gross. It was just harder to process and Hormel came up with a creative use for it where they could just chop it up.

And there's nothing wrong with snouts and ears. I love Vietnamese style headcheese.

I know beefaroni is edible so I’ll pick that. Never had spam and not sure I want to try it. I’m picky about meat—it is meat, right?
You remember when Ol' Ben Kenobi told Luke that Vader murdered Luke's father? Then he comes back and says it wasn't a lie it was just a different point of view...

What I'm getting at is Spam ... is Luke's father.
