We are going to Disney in a month! YAY! Of course, it's veerry tragic though. My sister is going with her marching band (she's a flag-twirler) and they are doing various workshops and parades, etc. Of course our family wouldn't pass up a chance to go to Disney, so we decided to go. We would arrive with my sister on March 12, and leave at the end of spring break, over a week at Disney. BUT, since I am in Honors Science, I am forced to be in the dumbo science fair, which is RIGHT in the middle of our trip =[. There's no way around it; we have to cut our trip short, making it 6 STINKIN DAYS! That's not thhhaat short. Oh well, at least we're going. We do want to eat at a restaurant everyday, preferably some awesome ones!

Here's the plan:

Arrive Wednesday, March 12.

Thursday:
Magic Kingdom
Sister is in SpectroMagic parade (will she wear lights? :rotfl: )

Friday:
EPCOT

Saturday:
MGM

Sunday:
Park of our choice...probably MK.

Monday: Leave for home.

Can you please help us with one restaurant per day for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the parks or areas surrounding?
What would be your choices?
We just cannot choose between our favorites at the parks!
BTW, we have an elder, a mom, a dad, a 14 year old girl, a 13 year old girl (ME), and a 10 year old boy.

HMMM..this should be a tough one. PLEASE HELP! We need to make some ADR's soon! Also, if you have any must-dos for our mini trip, feel free to suggest.
Muchas gracias!
Me gusta ustedes!
Nope, I'm not Spanish, I just adore the language. (sorry for that random bit!) It means: Many Thanks! I like you guys! :thumbsup2 :worship:

Hi Corrinne,

I'm a high school teacher; we're going in August. I feel your pain :)

I haven't been there since 1990, but here's what I'm booking this Friday:
- 'Ohana (at the Polynesian; easy trip by monorail from MK)
- Chef Mickey's (at the Contemporary, another easy trip. We're doing dinner, but they also have characters at breakfast.)
- 1900 Park Fare (dinner w/ Cinderella-- at the Grand Floridian, still another monorail ride)
- Coral Reef at Epcot (absolutely beautiful, like being at the bottom of the ocean!)
- Le Cellier in Canada at Epcot- supposed to be an amazing steakhouse
- Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood & Vine in Disney Studios (Old MGM)

Good luck in the science fair!!

My family's favorite MK restaurant is the Crystal Palace for breakfast, and if your reservations are early enough you can be finished eating and in Cinderella's Castle in time for the rope drop. At Epcot we like the restaurant in the Japan area where they cook in front of you and we also like Chefs de France. And 50's Prime Time Cafe at the park formerly known as MGM (Disney's Hollywood Studios) is a lot of fun and they serve a lot of food. Those are our park pics. Hope you have a great time!

I'd post this on the Restaurants page instead - you'll get lots of expert help!

In order to get more responses, I'm moving this to the Restaurants Board. Please check there for further replies.

Happy planning!

Glad you made over to food central!

ok, we need more information. Are you looking for TS suggestions or Cs or both? Character meals or not? Price range? Dining plan? Budget conscious? Are you interested in leaving the parks to dine in the resorts?

Enough questions?:lmao:
