HELP! Restaurant advice for watching Electrical Water Pageant & Wishes?

I'm trying to book the ADR for our last night's dinner. We are staying at BC but will want to go to the MK area because it is E EMH (which we may or may not do, but want to be close to have the option). We will have most likely seen Wishes earlier in the week, but not the Electrical Water Pageant.

Wishes is scheduled for 9:00 that night. I can't get California Grill which was my first choice. I can get Ohana at 8:55 or Chef Mickey at 8:45. Will Ohana work to watch both Wishes and the EWP? We will have been to neither restaurant but I know we can't see Wishes from Chef Mickeys.

Are there any other recommendations for places I should try to book instead? We don't have ADRs at any of the MK resort restaurants, so I'm open to trying any of them. This will be mid-September, so hopefully not too, too crowded.

Again, this will be our last night, so I'd like it to be special! It will just be me and my two kids (7 and 9). After we eat, if they have the energy we'll hit MK for the EEMH. If they are tired, it will be nice to at least have seen the parade and Wishes and hopefully had a nice dinner on our last night.

TIA!
Kim

Ohana will be the only other place with a view - maybe a view depending on where you are sitting. Best option is to eat early enough to be finished before 9 pm. Either Ohana or the Kona Cafe at the Poly and then head out onto the Poly beach to watch the EWP and Wishes from the beach.

I have a 2 part answer.

Have dinner at CR (CM, CG or Wave), then take the Pirates and Pals Fireworks cruise right from CR. The cruise was awsome. It starts out in a conference room in CR, where there is a meet and greet with Cptn Hook and Smee while you load up on goodies (chocolate coins, brownies, popcorn, drinks, etc...) that you can take in your backpack. Then you head down to the dock and hop on a boat with a singing pirate captain, and go out into the lagoon in front of FW and WL to watch the start of the Electric Water Pageant. After that you head out to Seven Seas Lagoon to watch Wishes. They broadcast the music into the boat while you watch too.

You will have a unique experience that is amazing.
